Britta is Head of the Dusseldorf Office and a Partner in the regulatory, public law and competition group.

She has over 16 years of experience specializing in energy and energy trading law and advises clients on all issues concerning the regulation of the energy industry and contractual matters, with a focus on energy related issues. Her expertise covers particularly the areas of contract negotiation and drafting of energy trading and energy supply contracts, PPAs and all energy contractual arrangements that energy suppliers are dealing with in the context of implementing the energy transition. Britta also advises clients taking their first steps into hydrogen projects.

Further, Britta regularly advises on power plant projects, joint ventures and co-operations in the energy sector.

Her clients include energy trading companies, utilities, power plant operators as well as industrial companies, network operators and project financing banks.

Britta has been ranked as one of The Best Lawyers in Germany in the field of Energy Law by Best Lawyers in cooperation with business magazine Handelsblatt.
