Rens Philipsen

Rens is a Senior Manager at Baringa, where he leads commercial BESS advisory mandates across Northwestern Europe. With over a decade experience in power markets, he works with investors and developers to bring BESS business cases from ideation to operation, provides commercial due diligence to financing and M&A processes, and supports commercial contracting of BESS to deliver the right levels of risk and return. Rens holds a M.Sc. degree in Engineering and Policy Analysis from Delft University of Technology.
