Alexander is Vice President in the Infrastructure & Energy Team at Berenberg – the world’s second oldest bank – since the beginning of 2025. He has more than 9 years working experience in infrastructure and renewable energy. At Berenberg he is responsible for the origination for nine debt funds with more than 1bn EUR Assets under Management The team focuses on both, arranging customized financing solutions as well as financial advisory services for companies active in the renewable and infrastructure sector. Prior to joining Berenberg he was Investment Manager at CYCAP, a subsidiary of Brookfield, where he focused on acquiring wind, solar and BESS projects for equity funds in Europe. He holds a B. Sc. of Economics and a M. Sc. of Politics, Economics, and Philosophy from University of Hamburg, Germany.
