Amin is Head of the Origination Team in the Infrastructure & Energy division at Berenberg, which offers both, arranging customised junior debt/ unitranche financing solutions as well as financial advisory services for companies active in the renewable and infrastructure sector. For the purpose for financing the late-stage development, construction, and operation of the renewable energy and energy transition projects in OECD countries, Berenberg set up debt funds with a total fund volume of approx. EUR 1 bm, which are funded by a number of European institutional and private investors and advised by Berenberg’s dedicated Infrastructure & Energy Team.
Before Berenberg, Amin worked as Vice President in Project Finance at Hamburg Commercial Bank, covering renewable energy and infrastructure projects in Europe. Amin holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Cologne and two Bachelor of Science (Economics as well as Business Administration) from the University of Kiel, Germany.
